 In the WiiWare section on the Nintendo Channel, the Madrid studio Virtual Toys now has an article about its new world launch.

   With this new title, we bring the successful saga, that has sold more than two and a half million copies in Nintendo DS, to the Wii console  and we introduce important innovations.

 The user enters the exciting world of fashion, being a stylist that wants to become a world star through a TV program  that searches for the best stylist in the world of fashion.

 There are different ways to approach the game: in “creation mode”  making the most of the user’s creativity or in “reality show mode” in which you present your creations to the public. You have 5 models with whom to work with as well as the help of professionals like stylists and tailors, who guide you in your model career.

 In the creation mode you must design your clothes, combining garnments and accessories, using a large variety of cloths, colors and accessories. The model’s makeup is important for the presentation, using different beauty elements such as base makeup, eyeshadows, you will pose dazzlingly. The Wii’s  wiimote and nunchuck remotes  become  scissors, combs or lipsticks.

 In the 'reality show' mode the show begins: your model will walk the runway infront of a demanding jury, presenting exclusive designs before an experienced public. You’ll be in photoshoots that will help you  create your own 'book' and participate in TV interviews

 The Multiplayer mode admits up to two players that can compete in 40 spectacular minigames.

 Virtual Toys presents five new products for the Christmas campaign distributed internationally by Ubi Soft, and directly though Nintendo's Wii Shop Channel in the case of "Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam".

 For Christmas 2008, Ubi Soft opens its international launch of four new titles developed by Virtual Toys for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii consoles. Virtual Toys consolidates its position as one of the leading development teams in Europe with this launch. The company is committed to the new digital distribution methods that allow video game users to download products directly to their Nintendo console via the Internet.

 Virtual Toys has just presented "YUMMY YUMMY COOKING JAM", a new option for the Nintendo Wii console available through the Nintendo Wii Shop Channel.

 This innovative game positions Virtual Toys as the first Spanish publisher of a product backed by Nintendo for its WiiWare platform. Not only that, users can download the game directly to their Nintendo Wii consoles. To do so, it's only necessary to have an Internet connection and exchange Wii Points acquired at local Nintendo retailers. A credit card can also be used to purchase the points via the Wii Shop Channel.

 "Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam" is available for 1000 Nintendo Wii Points. This is equivalent to €10, a very competitive price considering game quality and the cost of a comparable product in a habitual game shop. This download lets you store the game on your Nintendo console, delete it and download it again as often as you like. This is possible because the purchase is registered on the Nintendo server for the Nintendo console that bought it.

 Apt for all users, this stimulating action game can be played by one or two players, who have to cook the food and serve it quickly to impatient customers who visit any of the four restaurants there are. The game comes with a range of languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Dutch.

  This game for Nintendo DS takes place in Utah’s praries, where you will take the role of a young Amazon. You will have the chance to compete with your horse, to take care of your uncle's farm and to rescue wild horses in danger.

 You will be able to decide what your horse will be like, choosing his color, race and name and later on you’ll ge the chance to ride with him in open environments, exploring the surroundings.

 You will have to demonstrate your Amazon skills, competing both in racetracks and in open field.

 You will become friends with a charming colt and a beautiful pony, and you must take care of them and feed them to gain their confidence and friendship.

 If you manage to carry out the work well you will become the trainer of,a powerful black horse, ideal to compete with. Through wireless connection you will be able to collect and share cards with other players and exchange horses and colts.

 During the latest GameLab, Virtual Toys was given two important awards: Best Spanish Studio in 2007 and Best Nintendo DS Product, for the game HorseZ.

 Held on 10-11 July 2008, the 4th edition of Gamelab, International Encounters for the Electronic Entertainment Industry, took place in Gijón, Spain. The Principality of Asturias hosted the annual event, providing two intense days filled with novelties and content of interest to all.

 In 2007, over 60 Spanish companies presented 130 game titles, some with significant international sales. Virtual Toys is included in the latter group, having sold more than four million copies of its games "HorseZ", "Imagine: Fashion Designer" and "Imagine: Veterinarian" for the Nintendo DS.

 These international successes have led the jury for the Gamelab awards, composed of prestigious professionals in the Spanish video game sector, to award the Madrid studio two important accolades: Best Game of the Year for Nintendo DS, with "HorseZ", and Best Spanish Studio of 2007. Virtual Toys directors thanked the Gamelab organisation for this recognition during the closing ceremony of the competition, held at the Gijón Casino. Other awards for the best games for PC, mobile, online, console and specialised publication media were also given out at this competition.

 In this innovative title we present a game that introduces the user to the world of fashion in a creative and entertaining way. It allows you to design your own clothes, as well as to comb and dress the best models. The user’s creativity is put to the test in aspects like design, hairdressing , makeup, jewelry  or photography.
 
 In the game the player assumes the role of a young fashion designer in charge of a design workshop which he’ll have to make  succeed, fulfilling the client’s orders.

 In other workshops you’ll find jewels, clothes, makeup and hairstyles that will allow you to create  numerous combinations that make the models radiant.

 At the end, in the most expected fashion show of the season, you will be able to show off all your creations in the catwalk.

 The game makes use of the wireless connectivity of the console, to share photos of your creations with other users.

  Virtual Toys has signed a contract with Ubisoft for five new tittles for the next year. Three of this games will be developed for the Nintendo DS and the other two for the Nintendo Wii.

  Also, Virtual Toys has signed other contract to develop another XBOX Live Arcade game in 2008, with an  important publisher.

  The games, now in pre-production state, will be ready for the end of the next year 2008. 

This Christmas Ubisoft will release worldwide three tittles for the Nintendo DS developed by Virtual Toys, Pet Horsez 2 DS, Imagine Pet Vet DS and Imagine fashion designer DS.

The three titles, “Gold Master” now, will be published worldwide October to November and will be supported by a big press and television publicity campaign.

Also, in 2008 will be published in 360 Live Arcade the tittle HoopWorld that Virtual Toys develops with StreamLine Studios.

This way, Virtual Toys is consolidated as one of the teams of development leaders in Europe.

  Virtual toys has opened new offices in Valencia. The study joins those that the company has in Madrid and Barcelona.

  This new office of the company will center on the development of games for last generation consoles, like Wii, Playstatión 3 and X-Box 360. The first game will be a Wii project.

  Although still unknow the global sales of video games in the last trimester in Europe and America, Horsez DS is on his way of reaching the number of a million copies sold in the whole world.

  The game, since it was released in November of the last year, has been in the first positions of the lists of the whole Europe and the United States.

  In Virtual Toys we are of very proud since we have been awarded with the prize to the best game developing company of the year in the Campus Party.

 In line with other games of the serie,  like Dogz and Catz, in Horsez for the Nintendo DS the player has to take care of his horse and of his adorable colt while he studies and trains to turn into a champion.

 With an excellent acceptance among girls, in the game they turn into Amazons in a  horseback riding academy located in the south of France.
 
 The game has been adapted especially to take advantage of the characteristics of the Nintendo DS: The tactile pencil of the DS is used to take care, to educate and to play with the horses, as well as to draw on the tactile screen to perform the exercises of taming or exhibition.

 With an elegant 3D environment  in which controlling the horses, the animations and reproductions are very realistic and the wireless connectivity of the console allows to exchange ponies with other players.
